images/stories/dscn1240.jpgThe mission of Project Rebound is to support member district high school students who have identified Emotional Disabilities (ED) to complete their high school education while working on transitions to work and life beyond high school. Students work on internal motivation while building self-esteem in a supportive environment. Individualized curricula focus on reading, writing, and math with a modified schedule for students who work. Referrals to the program must comimages/stories/dscn1170.jpge from a student’s home school counselor or special education team, and requires a change of placement staffing which includes the Rebound staff. The program also provides Adolescent Day Treatment Services to eligible students  through additional funding provided by the Garfield County Department of Human Services.
