The mission of Wellspring is to support member district middle school students identified with Emotional Disabilities (ED) to meet their educational goals and grow academically. Wellspring is a self-contained middle school program housed at Yampah Mountain High School. The program promotes a positive peer culture in which students are encouraged to support one another in academic, community service, and recreational activities. Our in-class academic environment is balanced with outdoor and community- based education. Our learning environment is a highly structured predictable program where students work toward individual social, behavioral, and academic goals that incorporate personal passions. Students are referred by their home school and are staffed in by a team of educators.
